I went to the last Punk in Drublic festival they did. Kind of a shit show. They ran out of beer. Who runs out of beer at beer and punk festival? We also left in the middle of NOFX’s set because it was about 45 minutes of Mike and Jefe just bullshitting back and forth with little to no music being played. Which is their schtick, I get it but those tickets were fucking expensive.

The one in Boise was great. But last year’s tour was just one day. This event is a whole weekend. And look at the band list!

Meh. Rules scmules. There’s always a big list of rules for this type of thing. Unless you’re bothering or hurting others somehow they usually don’t enforce much.

They usually don’t enforce much unless you’re just being a complete asshat and bothering/hurting others though. There’s always big lists of rules for these types of events. Frankly, the band list alone makes it worthwhile for me.

A punk rock festival? That’s a dangerous idea. When you have some jammy festival some bad things can happen in relation to tripping and such, but a punk festival? There will be riots.

Yeah basically! But still fun. I would argue though that now there are varying levels of punk and a lot of it now is just more conscientious. A lot of it is still very politically motivated. Anti flag for example still kills at shows, and they basically just yell about how shitty the government is.
